On behalf of the distinguished editors of Vascular Specialist International (VSI), we appreciate all the reviewers, authors, and readers of VSI to their valuable contributions to make a better premier journal on vascular surgery. We are going to release the annual report of the journal on the December issue and share the information of VSI. This annual report includes congratulations to the reviewer award laureate, news of the VSI, publication statistics, and citation details. We believe that accumulation of annual reports will witness the development of the VSI journal, testify the history of VSI, and encourage a positive feedback from the authors and readers.

2. NEWLY INDEXED IN INTERNATIONAL DATABASES
There was a marked improvement in 2019. Our journal VSI was accepted for indexing in Scopus in September 2019. We are moving toward our goal, indexing in Medline and SCIE.

3. NEW POLICIES
From this year, we started to publish an article online ahead of the print version and adopted new types of articles. We hope many authors would submit various kinds articles, which are interesting and informative to vascular specialists in the world.
